It’s About To Get A Lot Harder To Get A Real Estate License In Nevada
Published: April 15th, 2021
Ahhhh Nevada, how we love you, your nature, your lakes, even your skiing is fantastic! A lot of people love Nevada for its outdoor recreation but let’s face it, most people know Nevada for one thing. Gambling! But, did you know that Nevada is one of the fastest growing states in America?
So how exactly do you get a real estate license in Nevada? First of all, you have to be over the age of 18. So NO MINORS! Typical of all things Nevada! Now, in 2021, the law has changed where all new applicants need to take the 90 hours of education BEFORE October 1st, 2021. If you apply after the October 1st deadline, you will need 120 hours of education – so HURRY! Learn specific requirements on the Nevada Real Estate Division’s website.
Once you pass your school exam, you will need to pass the State Exam which is offered by Pearson Vue for now. Any new applicant will also need to get fingerprinted, fill out some state required disclosures and then submit your package and fee’s to the Nevada Real Estate Division!
Now the only question – once you hit it big in Real Estate in Nevada, are you going to bet it all on Black or Red?
