Wyoming Real Estate Salesperson License Requirements

To become a salesperson in Wyoming, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Coursework: Complete 54 hours of pre-license education, which includes:
    • 30 hours in Real Estate Principles and Practices (Salesperson I Course).
    • 24 hours in Real Estate Law and Contracts (Salesperson II Course).
    • Additional Wyoming Law Course.

4 Steps to Obtain Your Real Estate License in Wyoming

  1. Complete Required Education: Finish 54 hours of pre-license education at an approved provider.
  2. Submit Fingerprints: Submit two fingerprint cards for a background check.
  3. Pass the Exams: Schedule and pass the national and Wyoming state real estate salesperson exams through Pearson VUE.
  4. Apply for the License: After passing the exams, submit your application along with proof of education, exam results, and the required fees to the Wyoming Real Estate Commission.
