Washington Real Estate Salesperson (Broker) License Requirements
To become a salesperson (broker) in Washington, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Coursework: Complete 90 hours of approved real estate education, which includes a 60-hour course in Real Estate Fundamentals and a 30-hour course in Real Estate Practices.

- Submit Application: Apply for the broker license through the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) online portal.
