Nevada Real Estate Salesperson License Requirements
To become a salesperson in Nevada, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Coursework: Complete 120 hours of pre-license education, which includes:
- 45 hours (or 3 college credits) in Real Estate Principles.
- 45 hours (or 3 college credits) in Real Estate Law (including 18 hours of Nevada law).
- 15 hours (or 1 college credit) in contracts.
4 Steps to Obtain Your Real Estate License in Nevada
- Complete Required Education: Finish 120 hours of pre-license education from an approved provider.
- Submit Fingerprints: Complete a fingerprint background check through an approved vendor.
- Pass the Exam: Schedule and pass the real estate salesperson exam administered by PSI.
- Apply for the License: Submit your application along with proof of education, exam results, and the required fees to the Nevada Real Estate Division.
