To become a salesperson in Massachusetts, you must meet the following requirements:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework: Complete 40 hours of pre-license education from a Board-approved real estate school.

1. Complete Required Education: Finish the 40 hours of pre-license education at a Board-approved real estate school.
2. Submit Application: Apply for the Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam through PSI.
3. Pass the Exam: Schedule and pass the Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson Exam.
4. Submit Fingerprints: Complete a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
5. Obtain Sponsorship: Affiliate with a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker who will supervise and train you once you are granted a license.
6. Submit Final Application: Complete and submit your final application along with proof of education, exam results, and background check to the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
7. Post-Licensing: Complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years for license renewal
