To become a salesperson in Indiana, you must meet the following requirements:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework: Complete 90 hours of pre-license education from an approved provider.
• Examination: Pass the Indiana Real Estate Salesperson Examination.
• Background Check: Pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check.

1. Complete Required Education: Finish the 90-hour pre-license course from an approved real estate school.
2. Submit Application: Apply for licensure through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (PLA).
3. Pass the Exam: Schedule and pass the Indiana Real Estate Salesperson Exam administered by PSI.

6. Submit Final Application: Submit your final application along with proof of education, exam results, background check, and broker sponsorship.
7. Post-Licensing: Complete 30 hours of post-licensing education within the first two years of obtaining your license.
