Governor Doug Ducey’s recent guidance for Arizona businesses has further confirmed our decision to temporarily close down our live classrooms ONLY. That being said, American Realty Academy is still in full operation with online training and live instructor support via phone and e-mail.
For those wishing to obtain their real estate license this spring and would like to start now, the recommended progression is as follows:
1# Complete all 90 hours of training with our 100% online course (3-4 weeks for most students): Live instructor support via phone/email comes with all packages. We’re right here in Phoenix with you and are more than happy to help you along the way with concepts that you may not understand.
2# Complete Your 6 hour Contract Writing Course (1 day class): This course unfortunately was not included in the law change that allowed online courses this past year. Meaning, the state technically requires it to be taught live.
Live classes are obviously not an option and while not completing a CWC won’t prevent you from testing, it is require before activating your license. We are addressing this problem on two fronts.
-Firstly, we are actively lobbying the state of Arizona to allow this to be taught remotely (live streaming) and hope to gain approval within the next 10 days.
-Secondly, we are now offering a free credit for this course for all sign ups (select Silver or Gold Package). Meaning, you will be able to take this course free remotely (if/when we gain approval) or in the live classroom setting once the Governor allows live classroom sessions to resume, your choice.
#3 (OPTIONAL) Complete Your Live Pass Prep Course (1 day, 4 hours): This is an optional course we provide for online students that gives them an opportunity to work with an instructor in a class room setting (ask questions, reinforce concepts, etc), effectively blending the advantages with online training and live classroom training. While we are suspending the live classroom schedule, we will be doing this in a remote live stream setting very soon. Dates and times will be announced next week. This is not a for credit course, thus state approval to go remote is not required.
#4 Complete Your School Exam (1 day, 1-3 hours): You have two options with this. Either wait until we are approved to have students in the classroom again or submit through us for a 3rd party proctor. There are some state restrictions on the proctor, please contact us directly for more details.
#5 Take The Pearson Vue Official Exam: At this time, Pearson Vue has ceased testing nationwide until April 16th. Most students take at least a month before getting to this point regardless, so the hope is that there will be no delay.
#6 Online Student Prep (self-paced): We are offering this with all packages for free during the outbreak. Meaning, should you have to wait a couple of weeks for testing, you will have the opportunity to stay sharp and well-studied. Making you the most prepared for your exams.
We are here to help, call or e-mail us any time. We’ve always put student’s needs over profits and these trying times are no exception,
